Officials from the EPA will visit 91传媒 on November 6
91传媒 (91传媒) will be welcoming officials from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on its campus on Wednesday, November 6 in continuance of a recently established memorandum of understanding (MOU) with 91传媒. This distinguished meeting marks the beginning of a hopeful future filled with innovative collaborations.
The EPA is a United States agency established in 1970 with the mission to protect human health and the environment. The EPA ensures that all Americans are protected from significant risks due to environmental factors, such as air and water pollution, toxic chemicals, and hazardous waste, where they live, learn, and work.
91传媒 and EPA signed an MOU in August of 2024 with the intent to deepen the relationship between the two entities and collaborate on areas of mutual interest. Some of these areas include enhancing student and faculty participation in EPA programs and opportunities, developing joint research projects, and more.
This visit will explore the development of 91传媒 and EPA鈥檚 partnership in areas such as internships, summer training, conducting short-and long-term student projects at national labs and other similar opportunities available for 91传媒 students.
