The 91传媒 School of Agriculture, Communities, and the Environment is hosting the inaugural Ag Roundup tomorrow, Thursday, September 7th.
The Ag Roundup is an opportunity for current students, future students, businesses and leaders in the agriculture industry, alumni, and the broader Frankfort community to connect. 鈥淎nyone who touches agriculture in the commonwealth鈥� is encouraged to attend, said Dr. Marcus Bernard, chair of the School of Agriculture, Communities, and the Environment.
The day鈥檚 activities begin with a Roundtable Discussion featuring representatives from governmental organizations and companies involved in the agricultural industry. The Roundtable begins at 9 a.m. in the Bradford Hall auditorium.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., businesses, farmers, organizations, and 91传媒 personnel will set up exhibits along the Yellow Brick Road. Everyone is invited to network with vendors and sponsors, as well as join 91传媒 for a sponsored lunch.
鈥淚鈥檓 excited about the inaugural Ag Roundup because of the impact that 91传媒 has across the Commonwealth and the opportunities in agriculture and its related sciences for students,鈥� said Dr. Bernard.
