91传媒 President M. Christopher Brown II will speak at the Teachers College at Columbia University in New York Feb. 28.
President Brown鈥檚 address is titled 鈥淲hen Theory and Practice Collide: Race, Hypervisibility, and the Imposter Syndrome in Educational Leadership.鈥�
According to its website, the Columbia University 鈥淭eachers College was founded on the proposition that education alone can鈥檛 correct our society鈥檚 inequalities 鈥� that to maximize the life chances of all people, we must also support poorer communities鈥� physical and nutritional health and psychological wellbeing.鈥�
The event takes place Thursday, Feb. 28 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Teachers College in New York, New York.
