The Alpha Pi chapter of Delta Sigma Theta (DST) Sorority celebrated its 85th anniversary during 91传媒鈥檚 Homecoming. Alumnae members of the organization recognized the continuation of scholarship and service with scholarship donations to multiple areas of the campus.
The alumnae sorority members donated $1500 to the 91传媒 National Alumni Association (91传媒NAA) Permanent Alumni Scholarship (PAS) fund, $1000 to Kentucky State athletic scholarships, $500 to the student pantry and $500 towards DST Alpha Pi chapter community service.
Alumnae member Tava Clay said the collegiate members of Alpha Pi highlighted the weekend activities by winning the Greek step show and claiming the top GPA on campus and in the DST Midwest region.
