The 91传媒 Mighty Marching Thorobred Band will perform at the regular season home opener of the NFL鈥檚 Indianapolis Colts on Sept. 15.
Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m. against the Philadelphia Eagles.
鈥淚t鈥檚 going to be one of the most exciting halftime shows,鈥� interim band director Robert Griffin says. 鈥淲e鈥檙e very excited about it. It鈥檚 a big honor when a marching band from a small university is invited to play during Monday Night Football.鈥�
The Colts are providing 150 tickets and will cover transportation costs, food and beverage for all band participants.
91传媒鈥檚 band annually performs at numerous events throughout the year, including 91传媒 football games, football classics, festivals, parades and as the pep band at 91传媒 basketball games.
